About Anamudi Peak Munnar
Known as the Everest of South India, Anamudi is a mountain situated in Idukki, Kerala, and it is the top point in India south of the Himalayas. Sited at a height of 2,695 meters, Anamudi is the highest mountain in the Western Ghats in India. There are no entry fees to visit the spectacular Anamudi Peak, but you should pay to enter Eravikulam National Park. The Anamudi Peak is open for tourists from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM on all days of the week.
