About Yellapetty Munnar
Yellapetty is a small village located 35 kilometers from Munnar, on the border of Kerala and Tamil Nadu. It is known for its lush green hills, cascading waterfalls, and scenic beauty. The name Yellapetty means "last village" in Tamil.

About 35 kilometers from Munnar,​Yellappetty hills are located between Kundala and Top Station on the Munnar-Vattavada Road.You can reach Yellapetty by car or bus. The drive takes about an hour. There is a signpost where the Devikulam Forest Division begins and the road forks into a plantation on one side and forest on the other. The trek through the forest begins from there.
